MISSION
Los Angeles is full of groundbreaking talent
and compulsive music lovers. As a company we fight to stay
real, build community, offer resources, and uniquely
engrave our artists into the mainstream. The goal is to
make the whole experience for our clients as memorable as
their music is for us, and to lift uncommon artistry to
the next level.
UEG Productions prides itself on the heart
it puts behind its artists and services. It's this, along
with our inherent professionalism, that keeps our clients
coming back and what attracts new talent to seek out this
full service PR syndicate.
Customization leads to overall satisfaction
in marketing and brand identity. We work with artists on
several levels at once and create niche markets for them
to thrive in. We further develop relationships with the
media for our artists. We also amplify the band's impact
and profitablility to an optimum level through affordable
campaigning, alternate revenue streams, and overall dedication
to detail.
UEG Productions stands for unemployed genius
productions. We work with musicians, exceptional in presence
and technique, that are not traditionally employed by the
commercial enterprise we call a corporate label today. They
are paving their own authentic path. This might, over time,
take some of them to large labels with their own genuine
contribution, and might immerse others in the do-it-yourself
revolution that is currently refining the industry. These
artists have visions of their own, and UEG is supplementing
them through every facet of the industry available now,
publicity, marketing consultation, engagement booking and
licensing.
ARTIST ROSTER
NEIL
CAVANAGH
One of the most free and creative acoustic 12 string
guitar players you'll ever witness live, this Berklee
College of Music graduate creates gorgeous and
melodic soundscapes that will attach themselves to
your memories. His songwriting is on the breadth of
a long-revered timeless folk rock tradition, with vocals
compared to the great Jeff Buckley and Elliot Smith.
Neil Cavanagh's live shows, at high octane, are no
less than stunning.

APPOGEE
"Indie Rock abducted by aliens.” A combination
of
song, synthesis, and sound. Appogee pushes the
boundaries of sonic exploration and deftly combines
the art of songwriting with forward thinking musical
collages. Avant-garde electronic artistry at its
finest. Organic, human subtleties intertwine with
sophisticated programming resulting in a unique and
hypnotic sound. Shows are chocked full of chaotic
rhythms and blissful melodies that evoke the Notwist
at their best.

THE
KIND STRANGERS
Multi-instrumentalist Geoff Bock’s latest work, Still
Building, is an electronic ensemble piece melted over
evocative ballad rock sentiment. It’s already
receiving critical acclaim with no band yet to speak
of. This songwriter, composer, producer, and riveting
front man had been scoring independent films for the
past 3 years, working in musical genres as diverse as,
classical, ambient, techno, and reinterpretations of
1920’s standards. Geoff's new album is currently in
stores nation-wide, and his latest score for the 70’s
era film, “Gypsies, Tramps, & Theives”,
is premiering
at the Archlight in Hollywood in September 2005. Look
for radio releases off this album on KCRW, a September
review in Amplifier Magazine, and a review in The Big
Take Over Magazine.
THE
ANIMATORS
The Animators savvy, insightful songs are both
sophisticated and accessible, both intelligent and full
of
heart. Their inventive arrangements extend the pop
palette to include such unusual texture as accordion,
glockenspiel, and Cajon. Their confident sound evokes
Coldplay and Simon & Garfunkel, the Postal Service and
the Police. But for all of their eclecticism and depth,
the
Animators never fail to deliver big choruses, undeniable
melodies, and sticky hooks.
DAVID
GIELAN
Nominated for an LA Music Award for Singer/Songwriter
of the Year 2005, David studied Jazz instrumentation
for the bass guitar under bass virtuoso Victor L.
Wooten (Bela Fleck and the Flecktones) at the
Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Now
songwriter of an eclectic rock band, David creates a
rich and vibrant storytelling tapestry of warm and
technical musicianship. Violin players, keyboards,
and slap bass in a dynamic folk rock package.
KIFF
GALLAGHER
Kiff's classic song-writing and soulful, pop-rock
hooks have been called "Stunning" by SF Weekly,
and
compared to "Maroon 5 with a dose of Stevie Wonder"
by
SF Examiner.
Kiff's songs are connected by confident production,
raw passion, and what Owlmag.com calls the "raspy
smooth, velvet blanket" of his voice, They are perfect
examples of the groove-oriented soul we can expect
from the entire album.
Hear why several of Kiff's new songs have been awarded
5-stars by GarageBand and featured on Clear Channel's
hot new artist buzz pages.
Produced by Joe Chiccarelli (Elton John, U2, Beck),
Kiff's new album speaks for itself. The live show is
captivating sold-out crowds all over the western
